Now it’s getting colder and darker, do drop in; the children’s room is always friendly and free, and we have the honesty library and papers to browse. Make a cup of tea or coffee, and see what else is on offer at The Mill. This week the Yoga classes are on, as are our Knitting and English conversation regulars. On Thursday, the Waltham Forest Pensioners Convention has invited Jennette Arnold OBE, London Assembly Member for North East London to speak, come along from 2-4. Open to all over-50s.  Free tea and biscuits.

Our next Exhibition is a series of photographs from many young A Level photography students who are attending or have previously attended Leyton Sixth Form College, and on Thursday 27th at 6.30 there will be an Open event to meet curator Kim Dennis, a current student, who has put together the collection of photographs by current and past students of the college. Nibbles, Mill Punch and some music. PS did we say we have central heating now….

Check the calendar for our regular events, and note the date of our Christmas Fair in the diary – Saturday 7th December!
